I was born December 24, 1962 in Washington, D.C. My father was in the army so I spent the first 14 years of my life traveling the world. Being the youngest of 7 children, I grew up appreciating a wide variety of musical styles. In the 7th grade, I joined the school band playing the snare drum. I was hooked on percussions and played throughout high school. After high school I started playing the drum set and soon got a part with a local steel band playing for private parties and a few prominent locations such as Busch Gardens and Disney World.

An internal unrest began a spiritual search. At the age of 22, the same year I lost my father to cancer, I left the faith of my youth. It would be ten years of soul searching and studying before realizing HE was calling and I was finally going to answer.

Leading God's people in worship is a blessing beyond description. It's so easy to get caught up in wanting to package a slick, hi-tech, seamless service and almost forget your charge - ushering God's people into His throne room with sincere, humble, passionate worship. You feel it when the worship team connects with the congregation and pleases God. It's awesome! As worship leader for Christian Church in the Wildwood, that is the mark I set for each service; our God deserves our best.
